February 2013: Dolphin Bay has an important new employee - industrial chemist Navintherin Moodley, who was appointed as Chemical Lab Manager at the start of this month.Navi comes from the Forestry and Forest Products Division of the Centre for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR-FFP) in Durban.
During his time there he was involved in the Sappi Clonal Study, the analysis of pulp for cellulose and lignin content, and the evaluation of various species of wood for suitability in the timber industry.
“Navi is already making a difference in our laboratory,” says Bertus. “His experience and his can-do attitude are wonderful to have around. We are very pleased that he has joined us.”Navi says he is enjoying the “vibrant and energetic atmosphere of my new company, as well as the warm and friendly members of staff."
