Dolphin Bay is offering a service in partnership with our own environmental consultants, Holland & Associates Environmental Consultants, to help you gain peace of mind regarding the environmental compliance of your plant.
Under this partnership, we will facilitate Ross Holland’s visits to our clients’ plants, grouping plants together by area so that Ross can visit several plants per trip. This would be more cost-effective than instances in which you seek a consultant’s service individually.
“We are providing this service because so many customers have questions and, as you know, our aim is to provide all the services we can, to help you to run a thriving and sustainable business,” says Bertus.
“We have worked with Holland & Associates for many years, recommending them to clients and entrusting them with our own environmental compliance. We believe you can trust them with your business, too.”
Due to the complexity of the South African environmental legislation, and the need to take account of the specific facts and circumstances of a particular treatment site, advice on environmental compliance cannot be given over the phone; an environmental consultant must see your plant in person to give an accurate assessment.
Ross and a Dolphin Bay sales representative will visit your site together. All discussions will be confidential, and you will obtain reputable advice that enables you to identify areas of risk and to fix any problems ahead of an inspection.
If required or requested, a formal environmental due diligence report could be produced to serve as a record of the professional advice. This could be invaluable in the event of having to defend a formal DEA inspection.
“Our aim is to help you ensure your environmental compliance in the most efficient and cost-effective manner possible, and to ensure that your plant is not targeted by the DEA inspectors in the long term,” says Bertus.
