EXTENDED AGREEMENT WITH NEW FORESTS COMPANY

We are extremely pleased to have extended our agreement with New Forests Company (NFC) to include Tanzania, making us the sole supplier to the NFC group in Africa.

Dolphin Bay previously supplied NFC’s operations in Rwanda and Uganda. The extended, three-year agreement, which follows a considerable period of trust-building between the two companies, gives us the scope to do all in our power to help NFC to optimise its production of quality poles and address strategic issues within the business, in all three of the African countries where it operates.

This work also corresponds with the framework of the Quality Pledge we are introducing to the industry.

“We chose to extend our agreement because of the quality of service that Dolphin Bay provides, and our positive business relationship,” said Chief Financial Officer Stephen Moore.

“We appreciate the gravity of the trust that NFC has placed in us to ensure that their operations never run out of product, and also to provide tailor-made services to the company’s operations. We take this trust extremely seriously. It is something that we shall keep working at, and shall never become complacent about.”

The extended agreement comes as Dolphin Bay implements a hands-on approach for our clients in East Africa. This stepped-up service aims to help ensure the sustainability of our clients’ businesses, and ours along with them.
