“Our values are like fingerprints. Nobodies are the same, but you leave ‘em all over everything you do.”
This may be a quote by Elvis Presley, but it sums up the approach to business of our new client, Brits Poles, says the company’s General Manager, Francois Langenberg.
“It’s all about setting our values and making sure we give customers a positive experience – through positive interactions with them and the quality of our product,” he says. “Businesses are built on good relationships. We are adamant about the importance of this.”
Brits Poles timber treatment plant, in the North West Province town of Brits, belongs to the Azkoyen group of companies and will treat timber from plantations belonging to the group. Brits Poles produces a variety of treated poles, sawn timber, and home improvement products. It runs a retail store at its treatment site, and express depots in Rustenburg and Damdoryn.
“Brits Poles runs an immaculate operation. Their people are highly motivated, and it’s pleasant doing business with them.”
Azkoyen trades in the agricultural sector, mainly in forestry, timber optimisation, and sawmilling. Another treatment plant within the group, Prime Poles, is also a Dolphin Bay customer.
It was Dolphin Bay’s reputation for a quality product and timeous delivery that piqued Brits Poles’ interest and led to the company approaching us to be their CCA chemical supplier, said Francois. “These qualities align with our own ethos and will help us, in turn, to provide our own customers with quality treated poles, within the delivery times we promise.”
Brits Poles is keen to benefit from Dolphin Bay’s services in the future, particularly operator training – training is very important to the Azkoyen group – and technical support. “We gather that Dolphin Bay provides excellent customer service, and we look forward to this.”
“Brits Poles is a significant player within the timber treatment industry. They run an immaculate operation, are highly motivated, and are pleasant people to do business with,” said Dolphin Bay’s Wayne Driemeyer. “We look forward to continuing our positive relationship and offering them any assistance they need.”
“We’re all looking to a bright green future!” said Francois.
